“Simple Minds: Everything Is Possible” is a music documentary that takes us on a journey through the history of Simple Minds, the Glasgow-based band that started in 1977 and became internationally known in the 1980s. From their punk roots, Simple Minds went on to become stage rock stars, playing top events such as Live Aid and creating the iconic song “Don’t You (Forget About Me)”, which appeared in the film “The Breakfast Club”.Despite their huge success, the documentary presents Simple Minds as a band that remained charmingly down-to-earth. Through their story, we see how five working-class kids from Glasgow managed to conquer the international music scene while maintaining their authenticity.
